things girls are made to feel ashamed of-
- having periods
- choosing what they want to wear on their body
- wanting to/not wanting to have sex
- putting boys in the ‘friendzone’
- standing up against misogyny
- ruining a boy’s life by telling the police that he raped her
- i could go on
- abortion
- having hair on their body
- not appreciating catcalls
- not appreciating chivalry
- having control over their own fucking body

At night, the city shines
and the whole world seems alive;
yes, the city comes to life
in dark hours of the night.
The lights were bright like makeshift flowers,
I was little, saw the magic, momma said the world was ours,
castles made of brick and silver, lovely, shining, urban towers.
In Germany, police fired 85 bullets in all of 2011.
In the U.S., police fired 90 shots at one unarmed man in Los Angeles.
Not to mention, they hit him only like 10 times. Spray and pray as always, LAPD.
The Norwegian police has fired 79 shots since 1994.
If that’s not enough to give you some damn perspective nothing is.
